It's true, one of the true joys of parenting is watching your baby 'eat' food for the first time. We've been feeding her cereal and pureed foods for 2 months now, and we still love to watch her face as she tries something for the first time. Last week, while we were visiting friends in Munich I gave her a little bite of German potato salad, which contained some vinegar (i know, not the best thing to give a 7-month-old but, I swear, every time we go out to eat she's got her mouth open like a hungry little bird. I can't resist.) The look of her face after one bite was priceless - kinda like a nun drinking a shot of tequila for the first time.I posted one of my favorite videos of her eating on you tube.
